Safety and suitability

Who administers the treatment?

All treatments are administered by a qualified health professional.

Is IV therapy safe?

All treatments adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards. Beyond that, suitability is assessed individually: your medical history is reviewed before anything is booked, and a treatment that is not appropriate for you will not be given.

Why do I need a consultation first?

In Australia, IV drips are classified as prescription only, meaning they require oversight by a medical professional. This ensures they are safe and appropriate for each individual's medical needs. The free phone consultation is how that oversight happens.

Is IV therapy suitable for everyone?

No. It is assessed case by case, and some people are not suitable. That assessment happens at the free phone consultation, before you have paid anything.

Are there side effects?

Any treatment carries some risk. The practitioner goes through the side effects that apply to you and to your specific formulation at the consultation, so you know what to expect before you book.

The treatment

What is a customised drip, and how is it different to a package?

A package is a set formula with fixed inclusions. A customised drip is formulated around the goal or concern you bring to the consultation. Both are available. Customising simply lets the practitioner get closer to what you are actually trying to address.

How do you decide what goes in my drip?

From two things: what you tell us you want to address, and your medical history. The final formulation is agreed with the practitioner at the consultation.

How long does an appointment take?

To be confirmedAppointment duration to be confirmed.

How often can I have a drip?

That depends on the formulation and on you, and it is decided in consultation. Some inclusions are capped: selenium and B-Complex + are each limited to one drip per month.

What is the difference between an IV drip and an intramuscular or subcutaneous shot?

A drip is an infusion delivered into a vein over a longer appointment, and can carry a broad formulation. A shot is a single injection into muscle or under the skin, takes a fraction of the time, and carries one thing. Shots can be booked on their own or added to a drip.

Do you offer NAD+?

Not yet. NAD+ is coming soon. It is not bookable and we are not quoting a price for it until it is.

EDTA chelation

What is EDTA chelation therapy?

A chelating agent is administered which binds to heavy metals in the body, so they can be eliminated through urine.

Which heavy metals does it remove?

Lead, mercury, arsenic and aluminium.

How do I know if I need it?

Heavy metal testing tells you. It is discussed at the free phone consultation, and the testing kit is part of the process.

How long does the whole process take?

Roughly a week for the testing kit to arrive, then the infusion, then about 5 to 10 business days for results.

Will I feel unwell afterwards?

Expect fatigue, and plan to rest that day. Magnesium is included in the infusion to help with the muscle spasms and pain that are common with EDTA.

What does EDTA chelation cost?

From $980, made up of the heavy metal testing kit and the infusion. A flat $100 AUD deposit is paid online when you book, for every service. The balance is billed after your appointment.
